Track Your Running PRs

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't I see any runs?

RunPRs reads workouts from Apple Health. Make sure you've granted HealthKit access when prompted. If you previously denied access, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > RunPRs and enable read access for Workouts.

Which distances are supported?

1 Mile, 2 Mile, 5K, 4 Mile, 10K, Half Marathon (13.1), and Marathon (26.2). You can enable up to 5 distances at a time in Settings.

How are personal records calculated?

PRs are calculated using split times from your workouts. For example, your 5K PR is the fastest 5K split across all your recorded runs, even from longer runs like a 10K.

Why is my PR different from what my watch shows?

RunPRs calculates split times from the distance samples in Apple Health, which may differ slightly from how your watch app computes them. Small variations of a few seconds are normal.

Can I switch between miles and kilometers?

Yes. Go to Settings > Display and change the pace unit between min/mile and min/km.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. All data is processed entirely on your device. RunPRs does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or health information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
